Now that we are a few weeks into the month of March. Spring is going to be here soon. It is going to be time to start to think about what you want to do with your lawn and landscape. When thinking spring, planning ahead is good. Once spring is here, there is no turning back. Plants will be starting to grow, which means maintenance will be needed and there is always a lot to be done.
If Harkes Landscape Management, LLC was contracted to plow your driveway or parking lot, then we will be around once the snow clears so that we can repair the grass that was damaged because of Harkes Landscape plowing activities. You don’t have to worry about that.
However, you will want to start to think about having bark/mulch installed in your landscape beds to freshen them up. Another maintenance need will be spring clean-up. The winter has made a mess of the lawns. The leaves and sticks that have fallen over the winter will need to be cleaned up. Your sprinklers will need to be started also. But it is best to wait for the freezing weather to be gone before that is done.
Something else to start to think about is what projects would you like done this year. Planning ahead can help immensely in any project including reworking a landscape. This can be especially true when it comes to timing of a project. Scheduling is done on a first come, first serve basis, and the first part of the year is a very busy time. However, don’t get discouraged, if you don’t start working on a project right away in the spring, it can be started anytime throughout the growing season.
When it comes to spring, planning ahead can be important as a lot of things start to happen all at once, and you can only do some much. Contact Harkes Landscape Management, LLC, and we can help you with you spring projects and maintenance.
