Patience, we need that right now if you are itching to be working on your lawn or landscape. It is the middle of winter, a few projects can be down, but not many. So we have to wait until spring, that can require patience.
Patience, it can be challenging to have, but it is needed when working on a lawn or landscape. Many tasks within a lawn or landscape are going to take time to see. Some of these tasks include fertilizer applications, weed control applications, plants that flower, plants that need to grow into a space, grass to recover from drought stress, grass seed to start to grow, etc. This is just a small list of things that require patience when working on your lawn or landscape.
There are a few things in a landscape that are instant, mowing a lawn, spreading landscape mulch, planting a bush or installing a landscape, just to name a few. These are nice because when the project is done, you can see that work that has been performed. So there are projects where instant gratification is possible.
However, we have to remember that not all tasks create that instant gratification. This is where patience is going to have to come in. This is just the way that nature works. We cannot control it, we are just work with it.
