Here we are, halfway through winter. It was interesting and scary to start. It looked like winter was going to be strong with heavy snow in November, but it quickly turned around. Then the snow turned off for a month. It was a complete turn around. However, once we were in the new year, the snow machine turned back on for West Michigan. But it is Michigan, that can happen.

To start to think positively, the sun is starting to rise before 8:00 am, the average temperatures are starting to go up, and the calendar is getting closer to the spring months.

But if you are a fan of winter, it is only mid-winter, we still have to second half to go. About two more months until we reach spring.

It doesn’t matter if you like snow or not, spring is coming, and it will be time to start to plan for the growing season. Just something to think about as we are at mid-winter for the 2014-2015 winter season.
