As you look around, you can start to see some signs that fall is on its way. It is hard to think as we are still in the month of August. We are enjoying the warm summer days. But it is that time that some plants are starting to get ready for this coming fall season.
This is nothing too crazy to start to see changes by now, it is just something that catches your eye when you do see it. The older trees seem to be the first to start. They generally have a larger reserve of food stored up so they do not need to produce new food through photosynthesis as long as younger plants do. So that means they can pull their chlorophyll in sooner and you start to see older plant’s leaves changing sooner.
There is not much that can be done. Fall is on its way. That doesn’t mean that summer is over just yet though.
